His father taught him the rudiments of the Painter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He became a Painter soon after.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
