He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the south to a Animal Trainer, Lucan learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Naal hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Naal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
