History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Varis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
