Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Erdan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mindartis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mindartis. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to share knowledge with the world
