History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to illithids.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Eiravel was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
