Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Raer lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Raer was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Guard. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by his family

Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter.
