Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mortician, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and seeks redemption

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Caeldrim was born the youngest of three triplets. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: Koeth speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Koeth learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
