He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

A freak accident while working with his Scribe mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
