History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Quarion was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Cartwright kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Sellsword who has hired him part-time. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Vanuath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Efferil does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Efferil was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Efferil fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
