He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ivellios never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gennal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in a small desert village. After coming to the age of reason, Gennal took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.
