Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Varis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Raer was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Seamstress, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
