Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. Berrian is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment, and is pretty ugly. He has moderate length golden hair. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

His skin is flawless and his green eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Peren liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A freak accident while working with his Ruler father left him crippled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is greedy

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Body Guard profession.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miller responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job
