History: He was born in a small mountains village. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Being a Navigator kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
