History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his father's many stories. After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Varis never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: Tharivol was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Tharivol abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tharivol fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
