History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Through the years after Naeris was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Naeris's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
