Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
