History: He was born in a small mountains village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Thervan took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He bought a lance and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of brigands

He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Heian was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Heian's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
