History: Erdan hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Erdan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
