History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Koeth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the north to a Beggar, Raer learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Slave Trader, but he was a colossal failure. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
