History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. During his travels, Efferil and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Efferil discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Efferil fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
