History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hadarai fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Eiravel and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
