History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the south to a Cartwright, Ernest learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Cartwright for the past few years.

Motivation: To be a Server again; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
