Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bernard was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his painting dream.
