Description: This exceptionally lanky man dresses in pastel turtlenecks beneath a brown coat with green slacks. His white hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Roland wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He got into the Barber business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
