History: Ernest lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Born to a Detective, his father struggled to pay the bills. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Rolf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Randal hails from a village terrorized by goblins. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
