History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Conrad was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Rolf was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rolf decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in the west to a Bookbinder, Anselm learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
