One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. History: He is a Lamia in disguise. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Miles was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
