Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Healer. He has worked as a Healer like his mother before him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
