History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hugh fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Lewis would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Lewis hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Layabout like his father before him.

Description: This late middle aged man wears light armors faded through time and improper care and is in decent physical shape. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Tim is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His first spouse was a Apothecary, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
