Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears blue trousers with tan and brown striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around his ears. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Bernard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: 6'6" and muscular, this northern man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with red colored cloaks and clothing. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Thomas was born with his father's beautiful face. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gunter grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gunter has worked very hard to control his curse. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
