Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is wearing a tight white one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.
History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Interpreter. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Scribe born in the past three hundred years. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.
Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and further expansion of business

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Godfrey was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Godfrey was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Godfrey's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to raise his children well

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
