Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. After coming to the age of reason, Jocelyn took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He worked as a nervous Weaver and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Weaver.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Weaver responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Hunter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Hunter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother
