Gerard Carlyle, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: With grey face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a halberd on his belt. He has a long red beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Lance Willoughby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: With green face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears suspenders and white workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. He has a very tight haircut. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is afraid of women and trembles around them
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Lance took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longbow and armor he uses now. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Balimaar Churchill, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a black tunic with green highlights, and long blue pants that bunch up around his shoes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'5" when asserting himself. He sports a flattop hair cut. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
