History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mayor arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. After months of barely getting by, Gilbert managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
