History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Gomory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Gifted from a young age, Diggory studied abroad. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in the south. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and wants to open a new tavern
