History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears dark leathers with embroidery, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His golden hair is heavily combed to the left. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To pay off his debts.
