After coming to the age of reason, Roland took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Norman was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Bertram learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
