Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and John does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, John and his spouse have recently divorced.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Glassblower for the past few years.
