History: Born in the east to a Courier, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company.
