History: He got into the Mercenary business at a young age. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: Godfrey lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Barrister, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Godfrey learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to open a new tavern

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and he wants to meet his childhood hero
