Heward's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Heward and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: Frederick was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Masseuse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: Anselm was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
