Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spy for the past few years.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: He was born into a rich family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dilettante. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he wears baggy brown pantaloons and a black scarf. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is a Spy first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Spy.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: Adelard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
