When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Bernard Gresham, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise gray.
Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Bernard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Theobald Allerton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He enjoys reading and quiet.
History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
