History: Lance was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born to a Roofer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Conrad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Conrad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
