History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Charles was a troubled youth. Charles decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bowyer for the past few years.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
