Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to get a good night's sleep

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by giants. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.
