History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Simon has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Thomas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Thomas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.
