Personality: Hubert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a shortspear, but if one is not available he will default to his spear. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Merchant business.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Layabout does. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His red hair is thinning but still full. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Layabout. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Charles was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Charles decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Layabout and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sculptor and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Stylist, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and to be a stylist again
