History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was a Servant, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Brewer and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
