He prefers to carry a rapier, but if one is not available he will default to his shortspear. His red hair is cut short. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A freak accident while working with his Bowyer father left him crippled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Description: This southern man wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His silver hair is thinning but still full. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and wishes to resurrect an old love
